Heron Rodriguez is a hip-hop/rap artist and songwriter based in Hollywood, CA. Heron has performed in music venues across the United States in cities such as Atlanta, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. He has participated in events like A3C Hip Hop Music Festival, Indie Entertainment Summit, and SAE Institute Tech Expo. Heron is notable for his acclaimed mixtape titled “In The Beginning” which spawned several underground hit records, “Hero”, “Tonight”, and “The Dope Game”. Born and raised in central Alabama Heron briefly attended the University of Alabama, the same school for which he is a notable fan of the Crimson Tide football team. Most recently Heron began filming scenes in and around Los Angeles for the N.W.A. biopic “Straight Outta Compton” set for theatrical release on August 14, 2015.
