Tidal Goes Platinum! Prepares for Brooklyn Concert

He's not a businessman he's a business, man! Congratulations are in order! Brooklyn heavy-hitter JAY Z recently announced that is streaming music venture Tidal has gone platinum reaching 1,000,000 people and counting. In honor of that, he is "celebrating 10/20 Brooklyn". Tidal is throwing a charity concert!

On October 20th,  Brooklyn's Barclay's Center will host the TIDAL X:1020 concert with a lineup set to make even the most musically close-minded person open up. With performances by Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Prince, Damian Marley, and a host of others from all genres, there's no reason why someone would not be hype for this concert! Not to mention boss man himself, JAY Z will hit the stage. Tickets go on sale for the general public tomorrow October 2nd. However, Tidal subscribers had the pleasure of purchasing theirs today starting at noon (est). We said it was a charity event, right? All proceeds will go to the New World Foundation. Mr. Carter, a job well done!
