You may remember the video that surfaced back in February, where a man was seen dragging a women out of an elevator in an Atlantic City casino. It was revealed that the man in the video was NFL running back, Ray Rice, and the woman he was dragging on the floor was his fiancé, now wife, Janay Palmer. The incident resulted in the Baltimore Raven's suspending Ray Rice for 2 games, a penalty of $530,000.
The NFL was widely criticized for the minor punishment, but Ray Rice returned to playing for the Baltimore Ravens and even went on to marry Janay Palmer.
Today the full video of the incident was released via TMZ Sports and it didn't take long for the NFL to take action. In the video released today, Janay Palmer is seen attacking Ray Rice, he proceeds to punch Janay Palmer in the face, knocking her out, before he drags her out of the elevator.
The previous video released in February, only showed the after-incident, from the angle outside of the elevator. Rice is seen dragging his unconscious fiancé into the hotel lobby. The extended video was released by a hotel employee.
The Baltimore Raven's terminated his contract and the NFL suspended Rice indefinetly.
Raven Coach's, John Harbaugh, said it was a quick decision....and wishes Ray "hope and good will":
A question for the ladies, after seeing the full video can you sympathy with Ray Rice or are you questioning why Janay Palmer decided to marry him?
It is rumored that Ray Rice will get to keep $25 million of the $35 million dollar deal he signed in 2012.
