Nike has officially unveiled their Black History Month collection which consists of 28 items (12 shoes, 16 apparel/accessories) across both Nike and Jordan Brand. Each sneaker and piece of apparel in the collection is built on a neutral black and white colorway, drawing on inspiration from six athletes/coaches; Theotis Beasley, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Jerry Rice, Brianna Rollins, C. Vivian Stringer and John Thompson.
The sneakers which include the Nike LeBron 12 (1/24), KD7 (1/24), Kobe 9 (1/19), and Kyrie 1 (1/19) will be releasing later this month while the Jordan 1 and XX9 will launch on January 17th as the NBA gets set to celebrate MLK Day on January 19th. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Ever Higher Fund, which supports organizations that benefit underserved youth through sport.
