The event, which takes place at Roberto Clemente Park, is really for all Paterson high schoolers and not for the general public. Because of this, officials have prepared for the likelihood of outsiders (people not from Paterson, or New Jersey for that matter) trying to get in on the action. The park has been shut down in preparation for the concert, with barricades going up from since 12:20pm this afternoon. A number of state police and officials have been stationed at their checkpoints hours beforehand. The city issued 1,200 tickets to be reserved for Paterson teens. As of this morning, about 300 were left. The show is set to start in a couple of hours, so to all of the teens out there waiting, enjoy! But not too much, you all have school in the morning.
